Lexi moved from Virginia to Los Angeles, nervous for her first day of school at Braze Hawks High School.

Jack is helping her throughout the first few weeks, so it's all good.

But one day, while Lexi and Rowan are about to do a presentation on the rise of school shootings all across the United States, the intercom interrupts.

"Teachers, students and staff. Sorry to interrupt your lessons, but we are currently going on lockdown. No further details."

All the students panic.

"Ms, why are we going on lockdown?! What's going on?!"

The teacher than checks her emails, and says fourteen words that will change their lives forever.

"God, there's five students that have weapons on them! And their across the school!"

What a coincidence.
