Civilization has finally recollected itself after the deadly, man-made element called Destinium wiped out a third of humanity during World War III. A new society emerges under the guidance of Governor Azusa, ruled by a new law of peace. Destinians, people who have gained powers from enduring the toxicity of the Destinium, reign at the top on this society where peace is defined by how strong you are and how well you can protect yourself from others.

17-year-old Kou is a Destinian but rarely uses his powers due to reasons that he keeps to himself. Neither does he fight, a thing quite queer in this world. Kou questions uncertainly about this "peace" that Governor Azusa has established. It doesn't sound quite right to him--why is it so wrong to help others and rely on someone other than oneself? This frame of thought leads the young teenager on a quest to discover a sinister plot and the true meaning of peace.

So I should have mentioned this like waaaay earlier, but Destinium is going on hiatus because I need to do some research for the story line. I'm aiming toward starting it back up this summer, so keep your eyes peeled. If you're looking for something to read, check out my series, The Land of Green and Gold! Part I: Flight is finished--it just needs a lot of editing. Part II: Silence is currently ongoing and is updated every Wednesday. I am also going to try to update a collection of short stories called Freedom Ink every other Thursday. Happy reading!

The Black Infectious Thingy | Inanimate Insanity AU | by GenderentDemon
61 parts Ongoing
CW: This story generally contains ships and swearing, as well as fights and weapons, each chapter contains a bit of a warning for common triggers. [PLEASE DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE START. IT IMPROVES LATER ON.] In this AU you follow the story of many different characters, each chapter has a different character's POV which results in different opinions on the same topics, different views and scenarios and therefore different conclusions. As the reader, you're the only one aware of most of the truth, not everyone is always right and this story thrives on the idea of being incorrect in something. The story starts with Taco stealing an experiment from Test Tube's lab and using it for her brilliant plan to get the II prize, once and for all. But clearly, that won't be an easy task, instead, it becomes this increasingly dangerous one, filled with drama and problems left and right! Who'll win? Taco or the rest of the players? Chapters update at the start of every month, with chapters that are from 1500 words up to 3000. Of course, this story is not professional and this can be mainly seen at the start of the story, although it can also happen in newer chapters. Its all to have fun, so mistakes happen!!!!! Any pun ideas are appreciated for characters such as Cheesy. I am not a perfect writer and I'm autistic, so (for me personally) getting into how certain characters would act is a tad bit troubling, I hope it's not too off from the actual show tho! I do try my best. Any Fanart yall make make sure to send to my Instagram: "nogenderchair" I really love anything that Y'ALL MAKE!

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

'4 Tribes, 4 Times we are used, 4 times we are separated for someone's thoughts on how this should be, and you wonder- was it always like this?' Four different tribes, based off of the four elements, have always been separate. Different rules, different royalty, different religions, different looks, different traditions, and different abilities embedded into each tribe. It's what make each one unique from the other. However, now, innocent kids are being thrown out of their tribe-disowned by their families; outcasted. One by one, each are no longer getting their 'correct' ability, and are removed by force- it feels unavoidable. A group of 8 unique kids, each coming from their own background, have been pushed together after being removed from their tribe. Driven by an urge to find out what is causing this mess- and a hate towards their rulers -the small group pushes on, unsure if they will succeed. Even with all they have been put through, some are still weary of four different tribes being together. Maybe this was meant to be? o° --- If you have read Paws in Talons, you will know that this is remake, using a little inspiration from what we wrote about a year ago from now. However, with many differences, including the abilities, romance, tribes, characters, and more ~For the general audience ~If you're squeamish over blood and death, wouldn't recommend ~This will be posted on Echo and Ripple's accounts We hope you enjoy! <33 -This book is bound to be written all the way throughout the entire thing, so this part is just i don't know. ~~~ NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!

29 parts Complete Mature
"One small incident can ruin or change a person's life - Now imagine a storm," Dusty winds spit at Sun'Tribe and her people. Cramped, multiple families are forced to huddle in one of the ruins; the only remaining proof of the original four tribes that used to stand. "Unifying us all is what should make us less insecure about ourselves, but our differences are what makes each one of us unique; special," In Sun'Tribe, everyone is the same. No traditions, no religion, no abilities, no culture, not even the way someone dresses themselves can be different. Dull, brown clothes, with hair cut down and pulled back in a simple manner. Difference is only for their Leader. The supreme ruler who never goes hungry, and lives in a large palace just for herself. It isn't until two lowly commoners take in the last of the outcasts, that their world sees a future of life again. ~*~ Written by the beas-TEAS, @EChO11111111111 (old acc: Echo__IsNoFurry) and @Ripplestream11 ; also credit to our friend who is not comfortable sharing her name (As of right now, Echo's account isn't working, AGAIN, so check both for updates) You don't have to read the other previous two books of this series to understand this book. "Forgotten Truths" is more of a backstory-based book, for the old tribes and some of the characters, which takes place a little over a decade before "Daffodils and Hyacinths", and the main details to understand this book are in "The Place where Dreams Fade," but if you're new, you should be caught up after reading 'TRIBES AND RULERS' and the Prologue. Updates might be a little irregular depending on our schedule We all hope you choose to give "Daffodils and Hyacinths" a go! NOTE: This book is not a fanfic, nor does it have any relation to "The Last Airbender" or "Legends of Korra". We definitely do see how it can be related to that, but we did not intend for that to be the outcome. Thank you!
