"You're not real," He whispered, remembering all of the times that he had 'played' with her as a child. 

She giggled. "Of course I'm not silly. Or at least I wasn't, until now."

"Rise, Chat Noir," Hawkmoth growled triumphantly, "And serve me."

"NO!"

Marinette stumbled forward in a panic, her feet twisting over each other in a desperate attempt to speed up. She fell forward, tears falling into the air, and crashed into the rising form that had once been Adrien. A grunt and scream sounded before the pair landed on the dirt. 

Hawkmoth gaped from above as Marinette blushed furiously from atop Adrien. Or at least... what had been Adrien. Her blush faded quickly, horror taking its place.
