Jun Higarshi is the type of guy who only likes sports, rarely going into a library. Then one day, for an assignment, he decides to study at a library. While looking for a book, he notices a girl about his age trying to reach a book just out of her reach. Jun helps her then he goes back to finding the book he needs. He finds it and starts to study.
Sakura Matsumoto is the type of girl who likes to spend her time at the library. Her parents had died when she was little, so she moved in with her abusive aunt. Never wanting to be home, she does all that she can to stay away. Going to school, then working two part time jobs, one right after the other. One of those jobs is a librarian.
The two meet in a library and become friends. Jun however starts to have feelings for Sakura, and goes back to the library day after day.
