---
Rhaegal is old, but you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at her. Physically she looks like she's 25 maybe 30. But she's much, much older. She is the oldest Daughter of Finwe, but because of a curse set on her by a jealous dark wizard, she was changed. She became stunted, her tallest hight being 5 feet and 4 inches, her limbs shortened. While she retained her Elven immortality and beauty.

Being the only elf cursed with the height of a dwarf she left. She left to get away from all the whispers and looks, she fought battles, won wars, loved men, left them, and never stayed in one place for too long, she always had her curse on her mind and how she could break it but after every single failed try she gave up on ever being freed of it.

Years passed and she fought alongside the last free people of Middle-earth against Sauron. The servant of Morgoth, she watched as Isildur cut the ring from the hand of the enemy and she watched and the enemy of the free people was defeated. It was quiet for the next few decades until a certain Wizard came looking for Rhaegal.

He called on her for her help in a quest to reclaim a homeland from a greedy Dragon, and maybe a way out of her curse.

Harry Potter and the Lord of the Rings by redcloakjr

This story is using characters and places from both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. If you know either 1 or neither of these stories this will probably not make any sense to you though you might still enjoy it. Further more please bare in mind my spelling punctuation and grammar is not the best so please excuse it. Finally if you enjoy it please let me know so I know to make more. For these stories I am not including 19 years later or by extention the curse child. I also tweaked some of the lord of the rings universe to suite the story. I don't have the time to list all of them but you should probably know the significant ones: Frodo was now 13 at the beginning of the events of the lord of the rings rather than 50 and he went to the undying lands when he was 14. Hobbits can now be of magical blood. Half-Blood, Pure-Blood, Muggle-Born and Squib. Sam, Merry, Pippin and Rosie are now all the same age as Frodo. Middle Earth is east of America and South West of UK. All people's of Middle Earth of magic born are sent to Hogwarts as geograficaly it is closest. Hobbits are slightly taller than they were before as otherwise it would be a little odd. And some other things I changed from Harry Potter are: Their is a wizarding university now. Harry and Frodo's parents were friends as they also went to hogwarts. Voldemort and Bellatrix were never a thing so no Delphini. Godric Gryffindor and Rowena Ravenclaw were a thing when they were alive. (significant later in the story) I also invented new characters for this story. I really hope you enjoy and I didn't bore you with this I just thought you ought to know.

Queen Naehlara (LOTR, Legolas love story) by ardenswriting
50 parts Complete Mature
In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!

Diana Montgomery waited patiently for the day her royal friends would come back to Narnia. The girl was immortal, a gift bestowed upon her by Aslan himself. Though she saw it as more of a curse. She would outlive all her friends. She would be labeled a freak. But Narnia was hers to protect while the High Kings and Queens were gone. All that they know is gone until they stumble across Diana who has let Prince Caspian take charge of the Narnian forces to defeat the Telmarines and restore Narnia to its former glory. "Clouds of fear were quickly covering the once cheerful blue sky. You knew then how unprepared for battle the people of Lake-town were. As you looked out to your left, you could see both dwarves, humans and elves facing one another, ready to rip the enemy of their glory and to claim all the mountain riches to themselves. It was then that the Earth started to shake. It was then the once stable ground became a quaking riot. It was then that Earthworms surged forward, from under the ground and into the light. This was now the Battle of the Five Armies." Opening paragraph of Chapter One You are a fierce elleth that is fighting in the Battle of the Five Armies. Since your father was killed by spiders on guard duty, both you and your mother left Mirkwood so you would not share your father's fate. You expected to see many Mirkwood elves that day, but you certainly did not expect to be fighting side by side with King Thranduil.
