Prompt: Legends and myths of sea monsters have existed for as long as civilization began. Some say the gigantic Kraken still haunts the Scandinavian waters, he slimy vodyanoy entices its victims with an exciting game of cards before luring them to a watery grave, the handsome Encantado seduces lonely woman only to kidnap them into their underwater city, the dark umibozu topples ships on calm waters and the ikanyamba's wrath is powerful enough to cause sea storms. Your challenge is to write a short tale featuring a sea monster originating from a myth or a legend. (This is a 1,000 word Short Story Written for a contest.)
