When 16-year-old Cathy escaped from the prison in which the Government kept her in, she thought she would be reunited with her family and friends. Instead, she found herself in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
Cathy spends eight long months living on her own, hunting, killing Fleshless, and trying to survive. But everything changes the day she finds Roth.
He desperately wants to join Cathy in her pursuit of a safe place, but she just won't allow him. She's better on her own.
But soon, her feelings start to change. Would it really be so bad to walk the forests with the good-looking Roth? She doesn't think so anymore.
And then, when Cathy and Roth have everything figured out, somebody else appears. A bigger enemy. And they are going to have to rethink their whole lives.
