After a tragic misfortune, Lacey Villalobos and her family become dispersers in search of a new beginning. However, their new pack is far from ideal. Lacey refuses to assimilate into their violent culture fueled by aggression, jealousy, lust, and a desire for total dominance. To make matters worse, a deep-rooted conflict between humans and wolves re-surfaces after pack members are targeted by freak accidents and hunting mishaps. Lacey must choose between being a human and a wolf, but this new challenge is easier said than done. As time passes, the thin line between her conscience and primitive instinct fades.
