When Adelaide finds out she is demigod, The offspring of a God and a Mortal, all the weird stuff that had happened in her life suddenly made sense. But now she's been pulled into an even weirder life with new rules and death around every corner. Slowly, she figures out her new life and learns the ways of Demigods, but then a quest comes along and tosses her back into the unknown.

Cassians world was turned upside down when his twin brother died 3 years ago on a quest. Rumours have since died down and he has learnt to deal with the hole in his life where his twin used to be. But then a quest is announced. A quest that will give Cassian the chance to get vengeance on his brothers death. A quest that he has been chosen to lead. 

Will Adelaide be able to keep up with the Quest? Or will she fall back, pulling the fate of the world with her? And will Cassian take the chance to get revenge, even if it means destroying everything in his way to get it?

When they arrive, Poseidon tells them that he want the 2 of them to go on a question in California, to retrieve a demigod. They wonder why a satyr can't do it, or why it has to be them, not anyone else. After a bit of convincing, they're on their way to Cali, via plane, credit to Zeus. What they don't know, is that another mysterious young demigod was also assigned to this quest. Hali Peterson. Daughter of Poseidon, born in 1937, dropped in the Lotus Casino at age 14, till her father pulled her out in the middle of the Giant War, in hopes to gain some more power in the underwater battle that raging at his palace. Now it was the next summer, and 15 year old Hali was living the dream in Southern California, occasionally going on different quests for her father. What happens when she meets her brother on one of these quests? I hope you like this!
