Daniella Clarke had always had the perfect life. Nothing was ever out of the ordinary until she comes downstairs to find her family dead and her brother holding the knife, and the putting it through his own heart. She was forced to go live with her dad, who abandoned her at a young age. Moving across the country to California was the escape she needed. Dani expects to lead a difficult life, having to adjust to the new circumstances. But maybe there will be something in California that can help her get through it, even when she thinks nothing can.
