2038: Vincent
(All text was transferred from google docs; none was stolen.) This story is inspired by the video game Detroit: Become Human. All credit goes to the producers of it, and I am not trying to steal any of their content from the game. About: Elias; a 16 year old boy is exploring an abandoned science lab with his friend when he comes across a time machine. He doesn't think it works, and steps inside. He is sucked into the future where the world has completely changed. He stepped out, revealing he was now in a new year: winter in 2038. Luckily, it was closed, and he went to find help. He came across Vincent, an android, who helps him explore the world in the future, and attempts to help Elias get back to 2022. However, there are obstacles. Some androids had developed a mind to kill each other. But Elias helps Vince survive, while Vince helps Elias travel back. Elias develops a close connection with Vince, and wants to stay with him in the future even though it is dangerous. He doesn't want to leave Vince in the world, but can't bring him back with him in the past since there are parts on Vince that aren't invented and will disintegrate. They need to figure something out, but what? Read on to find out... Notice: This story contains mentions of heavy violence, light gore, fear, suicide, and bugs. If you have trouble with these, please do not continue reading. If not, enjoy, and thank you! Notice 2: DO NOT SHIP ELIAS AND VINCENT. Vincent is technically considered an adult while Elias is still a minor. I will kick your shins if you ship them because it is extremely illegal to do so. Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. Violet encounters Markus, Kara and Connor in her home, and claims that she did not kill the owners. She claims they were her family. Violet is cynical, kind, abrupt and keeps a secret about the night her "parents" and "siblings" were killed. She goes on a journey of finding hope when all hope seems lost, confronting her past, and finally being at peace. --- Updates on Mondays --- The Detroit police department in 2039 is a strange place. Outbreaks of Deviancy within the everyday android are turning this town rampant; and is turning the police department into a war zone. A hard-boiled eccentric police lieutenant, and his android, RK800 companion are no longer able to keep up with the cases by themselves, and request an additional partner. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. As Sean breaks from what he was made to do, he has to really find out what he is made of, and what he is going to do with it. ----- DISCLAMER: I highly recommend watching, or playing Detroit: Become Human before reading.
