Hey friends! it's me, the author! This is a story that is LOOSLY based around some of the lore from TØP. TØP lore is the main inspiration behind this story, but I also pull from a lot of other different things and bring a lot of my own interests and passions into the mix! The Few
I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live. Trigger Warnings Include: Violence, violence against children, abuse, implied sexual abuse, torture, murder, suicide, discussions of terrorism, animal killing, animal abuse, gore, and discussions of mental illnesses and disorders such as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), PTSD, and C-PTSD.
