They call for him in his dreams, but everywhere he goes, the bishops are watching. Clancy is a citizen, escapee, and an exception to every rule. Welcome to Trench. AUTHTORS NOTE! Hey friends! it's me, the author! This is a story that is LOOSLY based around some of the lore from TØP. TØP lore is the main inspiration behind this story, but I also pull from a lot of other different things and bring a lot of my own interests and passions into the mix! Failed Perimeter Escape
I am a citizen of Dema. I am an escapee. I have failed time and time again. I have never seen the world outside this city, but one day I hope to. One day I will. My friend Clancy is like me. He is a citizen of Dema. He is an escapee. He is an exception. He has seen the world outside these imposing walls. He tells me about these people he's seen. He hasn't been able to speak with them yet, but he gets closer with each escape. I'm going to ask him to take me the next time he goes. I want to see these people for myself. I want to know if we can survive outside of Dema. Because I want to live.

Now, after many months of plotting, we've finally attempted our escape. Both of us thought that once we were out of DEMA, we would be out of it for good, but little did know that along the way, we would uncover many hidden secrets about the origins of DEMA, as well as its citizens.
