Discombobulate:to throw into a state of confussion;to confuse someone or make someone feel uncomfortable.

England,1868.
The industrial revolution brings London a wave of drastic changes: the invention of new and ingenious machinery, the growth and increase of factories enrich the owners of the industries that bask in the money obtained from the workers fatigue.
The great city, the center of the world, has an obscure soul where wealth struggles against poverty;where hope fights against despair;where injustice is only a background to a tremendous oppression that wanders the dark streets of London.
People who get money and have a prosperous future before them.People who succumb and submit to the power and the will of the rich.
But,in the darkness that haunts the great industrialized city, there is only one small light shining, the source of a new and sought hope.
Three Assassins will fight against the vicious savagery of the Templars over London, intertwining their liberation missions with new feelings and emotions, with a new and pure love...with an old promise made years before it will return to light.
The city will shine and live again.
It's time for oppression to end.

[Male Reader X Maria Renard.] WARNING: This story contains plenty of narrative elements that are far more sinister and disturbing than my other books. Reader discretion is advised. The French Revolution. Late 18th Century France, 1792. France has seen a time of peace, until now. The cobblestone streets of Paris are soon to run red with blood as the populace rises against the oppressive vampire lead aristocracy. But freedom comes at a high price. Due to massive amounts of food purposely being held back from the public, the fall of a Regiment that once kept the peace, the manipulation of the people on a grand scale, and hunger induced domestic violence that spreads across France like wildfire, nowhere is safe. The aforementioned violence starts to boil over to the point where people are killing each other in the streets either in organized or non-organized ways. Including French Nobility using politics as a weapon to kill anyone whoever so slightly irritates them, or say the wrong words. Innocent people are sent to the guillotine as a result of the chaos, but not everything is as it seems. The counter-revolutionary aristocracy has forged an alliance with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to devour the sun, which will in turn darken the earth permanently, and allow an army of vampires and night creatures to crush the resisting humans and enslave humanity to only exist as their food to eat. Regardless, in the wake of The French Revolution, it leaves Richter, Maria, Edouard, Madeline, You, Annette, and Tera with no other options left but to band together, prevent the sun from being eaten by the so called "Vampire Messiah", to survive by any means, protect the people, and of course, to extinguish the creatures that lurk the night. Every last one. Good luck surviving this war, you'll need it. Castlevania Series © Konami & Netflix. Assassin's Creed © Ubisoft. All songs used in this story belong to their respective owners.

1868, London. We are in the era of Queen Victoria's reign and the Industrial Revolution. The protagonist of the story is Adaline Lanchester, the only child of a British noble family. Adaline is different from the young ladies around her. Since her childhood, she finds joy in playing the piano and reading the yellowed pages of the books, but her gray days change forever when she meets a mysterious man called Jacob Frye at a ball organized in honor of the queen. By the passing of time, their romance is blossoming more and more, but Adaline makes enemies as well. Soon, the man she fell in love with reveals his true identity to Adaline and he does not hide anymore the fact that he is fighting for the freedom of London. Furthermore, Jacob tells the woman that the blood of crooks sticks to his hands, he tells about the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order that threatens the city. However, that's not all, because soon it turns out that Adaline is not the fragile woman that so many people think she is. What's more, the blood in her veins is a heritage of the past and the threads of this heritage are traced all the way back to the Renaissance Italy...
