"You're mine! Not hers so you shouldn't have let her touch you period!" I yelled at him before I realized what I said.

Xerxes had me backed up against the wall with one arm beside my head and one on the small of my back. He leaned in closer to me, his tall frame blocked out most of the light from my vision so all I could see was his glowing eyes.

"Say that again." He commanded.

"S-say what again?"

"Whose am I, Maya?" He asked me

"You're mine." I breathed.

Suddenly his lips captured mine.

Every year the Claim is held. It is an annual ball held for werewolves to find their mate ages 16 and older are allowed to attend. From all over the world packs join together in France, allied or not, to celebrate. It is the one time of year there is no war or rivalry. The Claim is held on the new moon of July and without failure, has brought happiness and new beginnings. This year was a little different.

Xerxes Jay Kaldon is the next in line Alpha of the largest and most brutal pack in the world, Iron Gate pack. Iron Gate is the original pack and each Alpha is descendent of the first Lycan. It also happens to be the worst problem for Wax Moon Pack.

Kyl'maya Gracie Anne Rosé is the daughter of Wax Moon Pack's Beta. She finally turns 16 and is ready to go find her mate at the Claim but what she didn't expect was for it to be her packs enemy.
