Today I found out what getting played really is. You wouldn't think a person like me would get played. I mean I'm smart, pretty, funny. I do have problems with my self confidence but who doesn't? You go through them like cards in a deck, sometimes they are kings but other times they are jokers. This time, I picked a joker.

I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment. The world is screwed up place. Everyone in it just wants peace when it isn't promised to nobody. We work for ourselves to try to improve our ways of life only for someone who has more to take it.
