A chaotic love story. Meet Aries Cross, the intelligent, but witty, anxious, but pretty, small and quiet, but strong and deadly, seventeen year old ex-spy. Aries was taught to fight and since the first moment she could, by her amazing father. Her father was an amazing spy working for the CIA, and taught his daughter everything he knew in hopes for her to follow in his footsteps. And she did. Once she turned ten, she already could beat down three full grown men at once, had military, boxing, self defence, and basic fighting training, could snipe anything no matter the distance, as long as she could see it, hack into any website she wanted, and of course, spy without being caught. Until one day, her father got shot on duty, and killed. Aries was with him, she could have saved him, and because she didn't, she felt that she wasn't good enough to be a spy, and quit in her fathers honor. She stopped speaking unless it was required, and closed everyone off and away from her life. Until her step mother finally convinced her to go back to high school; Where she meets Reese, the highly annoying, gorgeous jaw-dropping, hilarious, heart stopping, bad boy. Reese is determined to figure Aries out, the quiet mysterious new girl, but she seems very determined to keep her secrets closed off... until they are forced out by something very deadly. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ "Psst!" I looked over at the gorgeous boy sitting besides me, I would never actually admit he was gorgeous in person, of course. It was Reese. "Why haven't I seen you around town before? I know everyone here, were you hiding under a rock?" His friend sitting besides him snickered. I didnt blink, nor answer, I only turned back around, pulling a book from my bag and opening it. "Why dont you talk?" Reese asked. Without missing a beat I spat a response. "Why dont you shut up?" The gorgeous boy let out a chuckle. "I'm going to figure you out, whether you like it or not." I sent him the bird

***** Emma Pear knew she wasn't the most popular girl in high school. Her nose was usually buried in a textbook, and her grades were as spotless as her reputation for always following the rules. "Nerd" was a label she'd long since embraced. Her parents, determined to keep her on the straight and narrow, packed her schedule with violin lessons, shifts at the local animal shelter, and tutoring sessions for elementary school kids. Emma barely had time to breathe, let alone experience "normal" teenage rites of passage like parties, late-night hangouts, or even just goofing off with friends. So when the captain of the football team-the captain-unexpectedly asked her to the school dance, Emma saw a glimmer of a different life. She practically begged her parents, and to her shock, they actually said yes. She had no idea that one night, under the glittering lights of the gym, would rewrite her entire story. Blake Black was the kind of high school loner who radiated an almost magnetic quiet. Girls whispered about him in the halls, drawn to his mysterious aura and the fact that he rarely spoke to anyone. Most of his time was spent wrangling his hyper little brother, Alex. Their parents, a brain surgeon and a heart doctor, were perpetually busy, leaving little time for their growing boys. His parents made it clear attending the school dance wasn't optional. They just wanted him to "act like a normal high schooler" for a few hours. Blake's plan was simple: show his face, then ditch the minute he decently could. He brushed off a parade of hopeful girls, already counting down the minutes until he could escape. But then he saw what happened to Emma. And unlike everyone else, he couldn't just stand by and watch.
