I was cursed to live in a world of spectacular people. All through my life, I got to witness firsthand what these men and women could do, a front row seat to magnificent deeds and feats that could dazzle whole audiences. As a little girl, I was stunned. These people, these things, were called superheroes. They could do no wrong, in my eyes.
I was wrong. I didn't know it back then, but I would soon learn that no idea could be more twisted than that one.
