Labelled a genius because, well she is. She has a photographic memory, meaning she remember everything; many people see this as a gift, to Lane its a curse. If anything she wishes to lose her memory, why? Because, shes been abused by her father since her mother died when she was nine. Hew father believes it was her fault and her brother doesn't know what’s happening because, he's too caught up with his own family. To top it all off Lane’s bullied at school too. So ya her life is a living hell you can say. But what happens when principal Edwards notices what's happening, at home and school? Well Lane will have to move in with another family, who are willing to take her in. Now she has a new family, a new home, a new school, new friends, and hopefully a new life. Maybe, even, Lane will learn to love her gift.
