  My name is Lyanna, and my superpower is mind control. 
  It's 2050, and the government has been hunting down Abnormals since I was born. 
  They killed my parents when I was eight.
  They tried to capture me, but they failed.
  You may have though that after all those years, they would stop searching for me. But I know they haven't. I know this from the "Wanted" posters that are taped on store windows, on brick walls, nailed into tree trunks. I know that there is a list of the names of almost a hundred teenagers, with a bounty next to each of the names. My name is listed at the top.
  I have been forced to live on the streets for eight years. Eight years in fear, in suffering, and constantly on the run.
  But I've had enough of their mistreatment.
  Today, I'm turning sixteen.
  Today, I'm choosing to fight back.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. It isn't overly mature... there isn't much explicit language or sexual scenes, but there is a bit of violence, so just keep that in mind... and despite all that negativity, ENJOY!
