Alexis Thompson is 17 and has just moved to the small town of Westfield at the beginning of summer, and will be attending Westfield High for her senior year. She is forced to attend a party with Nicole her neighbor who has become a really good friend since she moved, over summer break. Things get a little crazy and she meets a guy named Cameron(who turns out to be the star quarterback at Westfield High), they talk and one thing leads to another... After the party all she can think about is him, she believes that she will never see him again. Lets just say she has another thing coming.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
