One morning Lance returns home from partying and stumbles across an unconscious and naked man. He takes him home and bandages him up. After a few hours he wakes up with a hangover and discovers that the stranger is gone. A month later Lance gets up early because he can't sleep anymore and discovers the same man in the back of his garden. Again naked and unconscious. He takes him home again but this time he stays by his side and after the man rouses from sleep Lance is able to demand answers. After that Keith comes every morning after the full moon. Until one evening he texts Lance that he'll stop coming. Lance takes it upon himself to find him in the forest. Wolf walkers, people who could take to form of a wolf, but kept their human minds. Some say they have magic on their side, but magic made them mad, made them monsters. That's what the Garrison told everyone in the village, including Lance McClain. He wanted to kill every last one of them for taking his sister away from him. And that's just what he's going to do. Lance goes out on a hunt with his unit and a few others from the Garrison, hot on the tail of a wolf walker. But a storm rolls in, Lance is separated from his unit, lost in the woods of the wolf walkers, alone and scared.
