Her whole life, she was taught that because her family is black and successful, the whole world is going to judge her for her smarts and beauty. With this in mind and still exploring the world, Deja is still finding out who she is. With heartbreak and tragedy crashing down on her, what else is this snarky, smart-mouthed, intellectual lady supposed to do with a man tripping into her life? And the fact that he's a white man can change a lot.
