When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. Suzie is just a normal girl from district 2 whos family has died because of the cruel Capitol, and all she wants is to do is be with them again. She figures the best way to finally be with her family again is to volunteer for the hunger games. Then someone else could kill her and she wouldn't have to kill herself. Also her father was in the games and she wanted to make him proud. So she comes up with a plan to go around all the districts gathering different types of skills and once she gets back to district 2 she will volunteer. Making her father proud was the thing she loved to do the most. Her father was her idol. But she doesnt have to volunteer. Suzie Timmer thought she would never get chosen at the reaping because she is not apart of any of the districts except district 2. But the Capitol figures out her plan, they figure out what she has been doing, so they purposly pull her name out at the reaping in district 4... Updates every Monday and Friday. Vivienne Blake is the 7th original Avenger. However Vivienne isn't from earth; she is from a planet known locally as "Panem". The planet of Panem is divided into 12 districts, ruled from the Capitol. As punishment for a failed revolt, each district is forced to select two tributes, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18, to fight to the death in the annual Hunger Games until there is only one survivor. After the events of the Civil War, Vivienne - or Blake as she is more commonly called - wanted to attempt to bring the Avengers back together. In an attempt to bond the Avengers, Doctor Strange suggests to Vivienne to allow them to watch her life.
