He was somber and disconsolate since he knows everyone doesn't care about him nor love him, he lost his loved ones and had no one to talk about his feelings, problems he's facing. He keeps it to himself because he knows he's a burden, but until Aizawa came to help Izuku, his life started to get better and got help with the problems he's facing after trying to jump off the roof of the school building in the midnight.
