Percy felt useless at Camp Half Blood. After David Roberts son of Zeus arrived at Camp Half Blood everyone started to ignore Percy. Even the Gods did. Poseidon himself was ignoring Percy. His own son! He didn't know why at first but then he figured it out. David had told everyone at Camp Half Blood that Percy left him fighting monsters on his own while Percy just stood there watching. Happening sometime after Camp Jupiter and Half-Blood Hill unite. Percy and Annabeth are finally looking forward to peace and quiet. They've had a hard couple of years. Hard is an understatement. They look forward to kicking back, going to college, collecting a few demigods, and hanging out with their friends. But when Rachel Dare has a fainting fit and reveals a prophecy that shatters the allusion that they'll have even a sort of normal life. Percy is yet again thrown into a quest that is going to take all of his powerful friends to accomplish. But the person he needs most will have to be left behind. Violet didn't ask for this. She never does. It was an accident. But she knows it's not. With the threat of getting kicked out of yet another school Violet has to keep her wits with her as she tries to brave the horrors of high school her senior year. But when another "accident" results in her trashing the auditorium and meeting a dark haired green eyed boy Violet learns that her normal life has never been normal at all. Thrust into a world she doesn't understand with powers she can't control Violet learns some truth about herself and about her parents. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable.
