Dahlia Reyes had been named after the flower Dahlia, which was named after Anders Dahl. She decided that as soon as she learned how to read, she'd learn all she could about every flower known to mankind. Why? Because Anders Dahl was an 18th century botanist.

So she studied, night and day while her parents worked, leaving her with a childminder who just sat and scrolled through their social medias. When she turns 15, she soon realises she has no friends, everyone too put out by her constant reading to even talk to her.

But when a new boy joins the year above, her life soon changes.
