Danny's parents don't accept him when they find out his supernatural secret. He over hears their conversation in the lab and runs for his life, all the way to Jump City. He finds a friend and partner, a team that reminds him of home, and a long lost sibling. A new family if you will.

~~~ I'm older and like including darker elements into my stories [as evident with the rest of my stories]. This is honestly cringy as hell but i can't bring myself to delete it.
So !TW! for implied child neglect and abuse, kidnaping mentions, one lone reference to the murder of a child by the GiW and cannon typical stuff [my fight seen still sucks tho]. I don't think this is too dark because I didn't change my original plot (much) but better safe than sorry.
