Laying in a pool of my own blood, taking in ragged breath after ragged breath, I wonder how my life could have taken such a drastic turn. This was suposed to be the best summer of my life, going to the birthplace of my maternal grandparrents, Egypt. My mom suprised me with the plane tickets for my 17th birthday present. Now I'm staring at her body, lifeless eyes wide with fright.

All though I didn't know it at the time, but it was a werecat that attacked me that night in Egypt, and the repercussions from that bite would forever change my life.

--I've been going through and editing details in this story, finding plot holes, and hopefully closing them. Any suggestions would be appreciated--
