A Journey Home is a short story that goes through the process of a military soldier's journey home to his younger brother who he has sole custody of, after being held captive and tortured with his squadron for information by terrorist.
Wrote this for my Year 12 Exam.

I shut my locker and started making my way towards my next class . I was already late and the hallway was almost empty . I picked up my pace . Suddenly a loud thump came from behind me and an immense crushing pain seared through my back . I was slammed in the lockers . I closed my eyes from the sudden contact and pain .
