It was an average day for the ninjas but, all good things come to an end.
  An old villain comes back with shocking news about one of the ninjas, would this effect the team? Also, what if a certain blond starts having feelings for a special fire starter amidst this.

  Update: G A S P! I wrote this story in middle school, so it was pretty bleh in comparison to my current style-but I could never imagine the amount of love I've gotten for this. THANK YOU GUYS FOR HELPING ME GET #1 FOR GREENFLAME!

As Kai's time as a ninja, he always heard these comments and he couldn't do anything about it so he has to bottle his feelings whenever people say this. One day when he was on a mission with Cole to save some adventurous that got stuck in a narrow cave a disaster struck on Kai. After the mission Cole got all the thanks and Kai got none, Cole was the only one who truly understood what happened. Kai gets sick of how he is being treated and leaves to have a walk to take his mind off of things... but then he meets someone he didn't expect to meet... Non-canon ships are not implied but take it as you wish, just not greenflame because no.
