Rose has lived her whole life dealing with a far from perfect home life, stuck in her tiny Tennessee town. Her life isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and she's pretty much accepted it. That is, until little baby Adeline comes along. Rose will do anything to make sure that Adeline doesn't have to live the same life that she did, so she packs Adeline into her old VW Bug and they're off. 

Life on the run isn't easy, but Rose unexpectedly finds a soft place to land in the arms of perfect, adoring Dawson. After years and years of having nothing, Rose finally has a family of her own and the opportunity to give Adeline the life she deserves.
