Her parents died in a house explosion with no cause, and now shes been shipped off to the other side of America to live with her mothers best friend. Eve Jones is afraid of everyone and has no friends. She crosses paths with two guys, who seem to be against each other. They both somehow know so much about her and may possibly have information on her family's death. One of them is good, however the other is evil. Which will she choose?

Helen's parents demand that she marry the man they've chosen for her or be disowned. She chooses to be disowned. But that isn't good enough for them. They make sure that she either doesn't get jobs or they make sure that she gets fired from them. She loses her apartment and all her things do to them.
