I knew I had to say it or you would never leave, but I didn't want you to. So I packed my bags and left without a single goodbye. "Goodbye" was written for myself about an ex-friend. For some reason it's the hardest word to say, but it needs to be said. Sometimes for closure other times for yourself. The poem is about living your life and owning your mistakes. Sometimes you need to wake up and realize the world doesn't revolve around you. That doesn't mean that you are alone.
