Accepting his immortality, he sought adventure, culminating in a battle against the Ender Dragon. After an intense fight, he emerged victorious, claiming the dragon egg and stepping through the portal back home. With peace restored, Steve dedicated himself to creation, building cities, castles, and ancient ruins. He lived happily with his loyal companions-a dog, a horse, and many other pets. But one day, a strange portal appeared, unlike anything he had seen before. Sensing a new adventure, Steve gathered his strongest gear and mounted his horse, his dog at his side. He bid farewell to the villagers who now lived in the cities he built, wishing them well before stepping into the unknown. On the other side, the world was no longer made of blocks-it was smooth, fluid, and entirely different. Instead of fear, Steve felt only excitement. A new world. A new journey. There is no way of saying how many years have passed, nor how many will. However, the saying remains the same: "Yesterday was history, Tomorrow is a mystery, But today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." =+=+=+= This is another Hermitcraft fanfiction, set in a season eight/nine AU (Evolution-EmpiresS1-HCS8-HCS9-Watcher AU). I don't own any of the characters; they belong to the Hermits as their Minecraft Personas. This book also sporadically features Evolution and Empires SMP characters. Pearl is the main character, but there are a few backstories followed as well. The first part of the chapter will always be Pearl, and the second a backstory (with a few exceptions when the chapter gets extra-long). Answer the chapter questions if you feel like it, even if you live in the mysterious future. I don't ship. I'm not certain about the hermit preferences, so I'd prefer to leave that to them and portray all of them as amazing friends (which they are). =+=+=+= There will be angst to satisfy your hunger. Never is there a moment wasted. The question is: who, is the human? Where, is the human? What, is the human? Which, is the human. How, is the human? When, is the human? Why is he here, alone? Proper description draft: Imagine how you would feel if you suddenly woke up, drowning? Imagine if you were stuck in a mysterious world, fighting. What would you do if you lived out years of your life, alone? Yeah...you get it.. This isn't a story about friendship, or even surviving. No... This is about a man named Steve, who was, truly..the last human... (A series of short stories that together make up one big story.. but is not a full book.... It made more sense in my head. 'XD ,) Inspired by the official MC book: "The Island" ..as well as the hidden lore in the game itself, mostly dug up in theory videos, over on "Game Theory".... and, my own self, role playing with myself for too long in single player worlds where I don't invite anyone to join. :P Please keep in mind that this ISN'T an origin story.
