Hello, all! I am starting my novel, Swept Away. I will be posting it incrementally. Patience, readers! It is a work in progress, and thus far incomplete. Here is a description:
Alexandra Newman is walking along the beach in Nags Head, North Carolina, when she is pulled down by the undertow and finds herself making landfall on a totally different beach on an island in a totally different world. She comes to discover that the world she came to is facing the same trials and tribulations of the world she left. Can she save it, when she can't save her own world?

Caroline Jones is a quiet, small, and--quite frankly--socially awkward 16 year old. She has had a lot happen and was thrown suddenly from a life of homeschooling to public school. To top it all off her parents are getting a divorce due to a tragedy that has just visited their family. She doesn't have any friends at her new school, and spends her time writing on a novel, or climbing trees with her cat. She is invisible... until Richie and Bernard kidnap her and she is thrown into a world that she only thought existed in fantasy novels. She is completely helpless. Mason Harvey is also a quiet kid, and he also had a rough past, but his rough past is from the fantastical world that Caroline was previously unaware of. Can Mason save Caroline from the two boys before she becomes forever enslaved? And what will happen when he discovers Richie and Bernard are not what they seem? *** Here's my little disclaimer, guys: This is a very happy-go-lucky almost romance that I wrote back in grade school. There is proper grammar and I personally think it has a fun plot, BUT there isn't much complexity to it. It's short and sweet if you want to give it a read :)Concluida

Both of her parents are super rich and try and see who can buy her the best expensive thing. Miranda really doesn't like to be fawned over..at all. She's really low key. One summer, her mom moves to Paris and wants her to fly down to visit her. On the plane ride there, she meets a super cute guy in first class. But then, things turn upside down...literally.
