I heard voices running behind me, but I just kept running. Knowing that if I had stopped even for a second to look back. Everything would of have gone back to the way it was. I'm Getting ahead of myself. Let's start with the basics. I am 18 year old Maria Quinn. I have a brother named Joesph. My mother left us When me and my brother were very little. My dad had started to become abusive. Joesph ran away when I was 15 he was 16 at the time. By then  he was already taller that my dad and had already had full control of his Wolf.

He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. The king was the strongest like I read. If him losing his mate would turn him against the entire population of living creatures, then maybe it is my duty to protect her.
