Kai has always been an avid believer in fate and chance—you know, all of those things people nowadays dub as "unrealistic" and "illogical". Call her superstitious, but there has to be some meaning as to why the two of them met at a wedding. Or why, earlier that day, she managed to trip on a heart-shaped rock and form a heart-shaped dent on the ground while ripping a heart-shaped hole on her sleeve.

And he was really cute too, so yes, she firmly believed that they were meant to be.

But try to sugarcoat the events as she might, try to read between the lines as she may, in the end, it will always be just about a guy and a girl who were brought together by a strange force known as destiny. Or by mere coincidence, either way.
