my demons are begging me to open up my mouth. i need them; mechanically make the words come out. Josh isn't one to drink, so he's nursing a coke that's steadily making its way to lukewarm. He's sitting at the bar and watching some local metalcore band that's truly mediocre when some guy, maybe a little bit older than him, leans up against the bar and smiles at him. "Buy you a drink?" the guy asks, tapping his fingers against the bar. WARNING: check the tags for triggers. if there's anything else you think should be tagged, please let me know.Complete

pulse.txt
A city is a living thing, and like all living things, it has its own rhythm. A rhythm doesn't exist unless it is heard or felt. It's heard by a bartender who can't contain her curiosity. It's felt by two people who can't decide if they hate each other or not. Like the beat of a heart. Or the blows of a boxer. You get the picture. So even on the days off, two souls that pulse in tandem can't help but beat together, whether they like it or not. > Persona 2: Eternal Punishment > Baofu/Ulala Serizawa > Explicit > Canon Compliant > Dysfunctional > Frenemies with Benefits to Lovers > Two broken people with drunken feelings have two awful encounters and one good one Mirroring my fic from Archive of Our Own.Complete
