Mild tempered, beautiful Candice Hayes never imagined that her homeroom would be the location of her violent death. She never imagined that her fellow classmates would share her death experience. She absolutely never imagined that death was just the beginning of a universe layered with dimensions unknown to man.
Upon her arrival in Heaven she learns that she is a unique soul, one that can travel through the infinite levels of heaven and hell. However, to achieve this state of perfection, she must join with her soul mate. But first she must find him, amongst billions of people through the fabric of time. The “Challenge”, is a 7 Earth Day adventure that if successfully played, will determine her soul mate
In preparation for the Challenge, Candice must travel to lower levels, known as Hell. She must learn to accept, what she cannot change. In Hell she meets Hitler, and many miserable souls; including one that she once knew well. While living in Heaven Candice experiences wonders unimaginable to a human being. It’s a place where Candice is able to travel through the past of time and experience the future before it’s happened. She is able to visit her loved ones as a ghost, witnessing events that her death robbed of her.
The Challenge isn’t as easy as Candice expected. She has three possible soul mates. One is Johnny, her boyfriend. He is charming, with a twist of danger. There is Ben, the crude and rude football player. However, in the last moments of their life, Ben became that hero that people will talk about for years to come. Lastly, there is Billy, Candice’s childhood friend. Schizophrenia ended the close friendship that she valued so deeply .
The Challenge is filled with twists and turns that might just result in Candice blocking the very memory of Heaven, thus; sealing her fate. If Candice is to succeed, she must find her soul mate and win the Challenge in her, Afterlife.
