What if Lucrecia Crescent had a sister who would've given anything to keep her son, Sephiroth, safe from Hojo's experiments?
Violet Crescent wanted nothing to do with the Jenova Project, but after discovering Vincent Valentine's desire to keep Lucrecia from the experiments, she agreed to take her nephew's place as the perfect test subject replacement. However, Hojo broke their deal and, now possessing a new, willing specimen, decided to move forward Sephiroth's testing. Learning from Lucrecia's methods, Hojo injected his own creation into Violet in hopes of creating another, more powerful monster.
The day Hojo set Violet free was the day her thirty years of utter torture began. Three decades later, she begins a new journey with Avalanche and another very familiar face, setting out on the path to destroying the mad scientist and his creations once and for all.

Very closely follows the storylines of FFVII, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus.
A rewrite of a story I wrote in 2015.
Vincent Valentine. Alive, alone, immortal. Centuries ago he helped his friends save the planet. Now they are dead and he remains. Burdened with tragedy and sorrow he seeks respite but fails to attain it. Then in an unexpected turn of events he is pulled to a new world, a new planet that is in dire need of saving.
Will he stay and give them the aide they so desperately need? Or will the burdens of his past continue to weigh him down with grief and prevent him from moving forward? Could he have a new life here? Could he really allow himself to let go? Can his sins ever be forgiven?
