The Northern Wasteland is no place for a pony to venture alone. With the fall of the Enclave, and the near extinction of the Steel Rangers, Equestria has began to rebuild itself, in hope of starting a better tomorrow. However, within the Northern Region of the Equestrian Wasteland, nothing has changed at all. Brutality and violence is at an all time high. And with no protection nor order in the gleaming city of Vanhoover, the Northern Wasteland can truly be a test to one's ability on how to survive.

With a war between two opposing sides raging on within the Wasteland, a young Unicorn mare arises from her home-town of Winter, in hope, of bringing order and hope to the ponies that live within the barren Wasteland of the north.

NOTE: Fluttershy's family's story is based on DisneyFanatic2364's fan-fics. DO NOT OWN THAT! POST-NOTE: This story was first published in June, 2017. Any changes that were made to a character in episodes after "The Perfect Pear" will not be changed in the story. For example, if Starlight DOES become a princess, which would be very interesting, it would not be in this story. I apologize for that, but remember, this IS a fan-fiction, not an MLP episode. Her tale is one that Equestria will never forget. ...Mostly because it's completely insane. Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. All non-original characters, locations and concepts (eg, Fluttershy, Equestria, Elements of Harmony) belong to Hasbro.

After she Notes Sunset about her coming and staying in the world Sunset now calls home, she goes through the portal back to Canterlot High. When she gets there, a ᏟᎬᎡᎢᎪᏆN, ᏴᏞᏌᎬ ᎻᎪᏆᎡᎬᎠ, ᏩᏌᏆᎢᎪᎡ ᏢᏞᎪYᎬᎡ just happens to be sitting by the portal thinking about twilight and wishing he could see her again.

Okay, good. So, this is obviously a sequel to my last story, Songs of Innocence, but if you haven't read that, that's okay!
