Emily is the second person up in the Glade and the first girl. With new people being sent up every month, finding a way out of the maze wouldn't seem to be so hard. Only problem? She can't talk. DISCLAIMER! This is a Newt fanfic that's based on the book and the movie of The Maze Runner. This fanficiton mainly takes place before Thomas enters the Glade, meaning it will not follow any story but my own. Please note that anything known about life in the Glade before Thomas is something I chose to ignore or incorporate in the story my own way. Since this story takes place before the franchise, it doesn't follow the storyline of the book nor the movie. Events taking place during the time of the book/movie is a mixture of the two, incorporating both movie and book. I do not own any character but Emily. Lover || Newt x reader
Newt X Reader --------- Trapped in a world she doesn't understand, Maya is the first girl to arrive in the Glade. With no memories of her past and only fear guiding her, she quickly learns that survival in this place isn't guaranteed. The boys who stare at her like an outsider-like something new, something unexpected-are just as lost as she is. Among them is Newt, a boy with kind eyes and a quiet strength, someone who offers her a sense of safety in a world that feels anything but safe. As Maya struggles to find her place in the Glade, Newt becomes her everything. He teaches her the rules, keeps her from breaking down, and-without meaning to-becomes the one person she trusts. With every day that passes, Maya begins to realize that surviving isn't just about escaping-it's about the people who make the fight worth it. And for her, that person might just be Newt.

This is a TMR fanfic. A Newt x fem!Reader. Just please try it. Basically, reader is the first girl in the Glade (Teresa will never really exist), and along with her she brings her baby sister. Read to find out how the rest of the Gladers will have to adjust to a child in their midst and how Newt and Y/n's relationship will grow because of it! (You are around 19-20 in this story, along with the rest of characters. (Except if they're younger, like Chuck or Ana)) Warning: there will be swearing! Disclaimer: all rights go to James Dashner! The Misfire:Book 1 (Newt || A TMR Fanfiction)
To say that the Gladers were extremely confused once they realized who was sent up in the lift this time, was a complete exaggeration. The gladers disregarded any suspicions with your arrival, as they thought you were just another mouth to feed. After all, YOU were only the 2nd girl to be delivered into the Glade. Much like everyone else, you were just as confused and lost. With no memory before waking up in that box, the only clue to all this chaos was a vague writing in your arm, no knowledge who wrote it and what it exactly meant. In this seemingly hopeless place, will your arrival make a difference? Or will you just make things even worse? [NEWTXREADER] -currently editing the entire fic as of 2022 since I have plans on changing into Newt x OC. Not sure though. 📍A/N: This fanfiction is more likely to stay true to the movie than the movie was to the books.Complete
Daughter of the Maze // Newt
Teresa wasn't the first girl in the Glade. Just the first that survived. Ayla Meyer. Subject A13. "The Wild Card" 16-year-old Ayla arrived in the Maze Trial about six months in. She arrived differently, though. She woke up in the Maze, with nothing but a small leather pouch and the clothes on her back. Ayla loved the Maze. Why wouldn't she, when she had spent her first three days and nights there? Thomas wasn't the first person to fall in love in the Maze, either. Just the first that will mention it without his heart breaking. Newt Ellis. Subject A12. "The Glue" 17-year-old Newt has been in the Maze since the beginning. He arrived in the Box, with a bronze chain around his neck and a small journal. Written in scratched writing was one word: Remember. Newt hates the Maze. He has every right to, when it's the place where he nearly died, and his true love did so. #2 in newtfanfic 4/8/2022 #1 in mazerunner 7/23/2022 #1 in mazerunnerfanfic 7/23/2022 #1 in wicked 11/26/2023 #5 in asexual 3/21/2025 (not that impressive but it has a special place in my heart❤️🩹) warnings // cursing, assault, character death, violence no smut (main character is ace) *this story was written before the announcement of newt's canon sexuality*Complete

This love won't come without some troubles along the way of course. What would the Glade be if it wasn't a place with challenges set out to get you, right? {Thomas X Reader fanfiction}Complete
