A top ranked strong willed warrior, Airi of the Sora Tribe never thought the mere mission she were to complete would reveal many secrets about her and the world. Within a world of magic and monsters, betrayals and loyalties, Airi is bound to be a part of the change. Sometimes one has to face their self in order to defeat the shadows that lurk within. ---- It was dark. Not without the chaste and pale night that gleamed with the empty, crusty moon, which shone a glimmer of red within its core. Unlike four years ago, this light that emanated from the moon grew and spread like permeating vines that spiral across the cold cemented grounds. The last four years, the light had dimmed to a stifling crimsonlike glare that even when it echoed into the woods, it uttered a silent whisper that nobody could hear. But the Berdea Tribe was one that lived within the nature of leaves and it was once said that they could hear the passage of the roots of the trees and the soil that foretold of the moonlight. They warned the four tribes about the whispering of nature that whence the prophetic child with the crimson mark came, would become the light that the moon dares desire. And all spells eternal flames. If unkempt.

"Walking into the small cave now was almost bland, the power too familiar to notice. The fact that the den seemed to lighten instead of darken as it should was encouraging instead of ominous. Thalana followed the path, each step taken with the confidence of a master who had performed the same task thousands of times. As she exited the other side she found herself among a field that, by all logical reasoning, should not have been there. Thalana knew there was some deep magic at play, that she wasn't home anymore, that she was somewhere else, but she had ceased caring long ago. The herbs she collected were useful, and so she ignored the magic burning at the back of her neck. Except this time wasn't the same as before. This time, someone was waiting for her." When Thalana discovers a threat to her people, she travels to the capitol city of Oni Nalore to warn her High Chieftan. When the Chieftan dismisses her fears, however, she realizes she cannot rely on the hierarchy and takes the burden of the defense of her people upon herself, embarking on a journey to unite the clans and gain the insight necessary to defeat this danger.
