Famous indie rock band District 6 has just released their third studio album, Starshine, and the band is going back on tour. Muse, Rebel, Olympia, and Luna, also known as April-Lynn, Dylan, Matt and Eliza love their music, their fans, and their lives, and while touring is frustrating and tiring doing it with your best friends is the best way to do it.
Except when one of those best friends is also the love of your life. April-Lynn, a District 6 founder, and their lead singer and songwriter, is absolutely head over heels in love with her lead guitarist Matt, and has been ever since she joined the band. If she could, April would tell Matt and never let her go, but April's anxiety, and Matt's seeming lack of romantic interest, won't let her say anything.
But a tour is long, and emotions can run high, so, maybe, just maybe this time she'll be able to say something, before she loses Matt for good.

The crowd was chanting so loud that they could be heard in the furthest lot, at the opposite end of the venue. The band hadn't even arrived yet, even though they were supposed to have been there before the show even had started, but the crowd was wild with anticipation. There wasn't one silent body in the stadium. A few crew members raced by as the band's manager, Emily Green, was waiting anxiously for them to arrive, pacing the floor behind the stage. She looked out the curtain once more to see an almost angry crowd. She had been calling Scarlet almost obsessively, blowing up her phone with unread voicemails going straight to her inbox. *** Scarlet Rein is not so popular at school, but she finds herself the photographer of a well known band, Falling Waters. Publicly hated, but secretly has a side job that could make her the most successful in the providence, if it were to be known. Colter Thorn and his group, Falling Waters, are the newest and hottest band in all of Alberta, Canada. With killer songs and an amazing photographer, they seem to be unstoppable and growing fast. But being their photographer isn't the secret that Rein is keeping, but the fact that she is the reason the band is even a band. When Falling Waters is up for an incredible contract, their manager, Emily Green, knows that Scarlet's secret has to be kept at all costs, even if that means Scar and Colt have to fake date. Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts. "All week, you've been on my mind, and I can't make it go away. Finally, after suffering in silence for so long at the thought of your lips, your laugh, and your smile..." Aaron trailed off, his eyes roamed my face. "All week?" I scoffed pulling away. "I've been in love with you for twenty years!" "We've been friends since childhood, and I've accepted that we're just not meant to be. I've tried to move on and you encouraged me to follow my dreams. I just... I didn't know that my dream was you." . ✧ . Bethany grew up in a small town in rural Alabama. Her older brother and her best friend had been the only closest people to her for years. Until they all graduated together and went their separate ways. Struggling to stay in touch with one another with their developing, adult lives. Years ago Bethany had fallen head over heels in love with the most popular guy in town, Aaron Russel. But confessing her feelings had always been something she would never do. And high school only enriched his popularity. And now almost a decade later they all have the opportunity to see each other again at their ten year high school reunion. Now Bethany had the chance to show everyone she grew up with how much she changed. Her thriving career out of state finally gaining confidence and sophistication transforming into a whole new woman. It took them some time to realize what they wanted and what they needed in life. And it took them even more time to confess who they were truly in love with.
