I will be posting this story on Royal Road within the next week or so after I have passed the approval process. My name on there will also be CatLegis. 

Kara thought that going to a boarding school for witches would be hard. But when she's framed for murder, she must clear her name before the murderer can strike again.

Kara has just turned sixteen and is to attend Greenwood Academy, a witches' boarding school located in the Salem Woods in Massachusetts. But the Zen family is notorious for weak familiars and, as she prepares to summon her familiar for the first time, along with bracing for the bullying that will surely follow, something miraculous happens. 

The power she summons was thought to be a myth and legend: and it's extremely powerful. 

Accepted by the popular students within the academy, Kara begins to think that her stay at Greenwood will be an easy one. But when a fellow student is viciously murdered, Kara is the sole suspect of the crime, and she must figure out how to clear her name before tragedy can strike again.

But what exactly is the truth when she's going to a three hundred year old boarding school that has secrets?

I'M GOING TO START EDITING THIS PROBABLY. If you go to Our Lady of the Black Veil Academy, chances are you know the names Cass Landry, Rebecca Lovelace, and Mallory Meksawan. Cass Landry being the mysterious new girl with a tendency to practice magic illegally, Rebecca being notorious for lighting up every room she walks into, and Mallory being the second in command it-girl of Black Veil, as famed as she is feared. After a magical attempt to escape detention goes terribly, horribly wrong and their ethics teacher winds up dead (ironic, they know), Cass must band together with Rebecca, the girl she "totally doesn't like", and Mallory, another girl she doesn't like (but like...for real this time) to find a spell that can bring their teacher back to life before her situation becomes permanent. A spell of this caliber, however, requires that they venture into the underground world of their picturesque town, striking a deal with a powerful gang leader that not only raises the stakes, but gives them an even tighter timeline. And though as a witch Cass has personal experience with life and death, the pressure that she's facing now might just be too tough to handle. Luckily, she's not alone. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it.
