Clare knew she was different from a young age, her mother made sure of that. With pointy ears and lizard-like eyes, Clare must deal with deafness in the human world. When her mother is kidnapped Clare is reintroduced to the faerie world. To save her mother, the only human she has ever loved, she must give up her life as a human and spend the rest of her days with her birth mother the dutchess of Hollyhead, an underground fairie town.
