Pandemics, Plagues, epidemics those have always existed... some say as a way for nature to take back control and control human population. They've always been caused and spread by many factors, zoonosis, water borne, and maybe even some times man made.

Which of these is the cause for the sickness that spread throughout the world and killed over 20 percent of those not of europid descent? This disease effected nearly 10 percent of the minority population in the United States of America and completely fractured an already fragile trust between races.

Addison is a survivor, she survived the sickness that took her father, and survived the treatment that came after, or the very least, she's trying.
