"And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. I saw literally none of these on Quotev and I'm crazy enough to actually make one. Warning: THIS IS A YANDERE STORY! As such, and given the nature of this cryptid, there will be heavy violence. You had gone searching for the paranormal, believing that the worst you'd face was death. What you found was more than enough to banish such naivety. Death is a mercy for the hunted, a sanctuary for the tormented, and a respite from the unspeakable things of the world. No, death was not the worst thing you were destined to face. No... the only thing you found was despair, obsession, and greed. The only thing you found... were monsters.
