With the castle ship now gone and Keith now back on the team and lance still unable to acknowledge the strange feelings he has for him, lance now struggles once again with the sense that he doesn't belong and his ever long pining for allura is starting to take its toll. While lance continues with this struggle the team goes through many difficulties with haggar still on the loose and enemies at every turn.
Meanwhile, Keith himself struggles with the fact that lance is slowly pulling away from everyone. As he watches lance slowly pull himself apart from the inside Keith is running out of time before lance self destructs. With haggar on the loose and no real base to converge on but the lions, the slow trek to earth could prove to become deadly to some of the paladins. Will Keith be able to balance his role as leader with his emotions towards lance?
