Dark Attraction
A collection of deliciously, dark poems. #3 in Poetry - 9/6/18 I hope you enjoy and any time taken to read, is greatly appreciated and if you wanted to hit the little vote button or comment, you will have my eternal gratitude. H x The main theme of this book is the macabre and horror. Some of the poems are inspired by horror movies that carry an age 15 rating. There are also some poems touching upon anxiety issues. If you feel you would be upset by reading anything of this nature, then I would advise that this collection may not be for you. Although, for others, it may be of interest, to see another persons experience of this. I will leave the choice up to you. Whilst there is nothing particularly graphic in here, there are scary themes and also some darker themes. There are also some scary images along with the horror themed poems. For your consideration for the Wattys of 2017. Diagnosed with cancer at the young age of 25, I kept a journal through surgery and treatment, wrote humorous (or just uncomfortable) short stories and irreverent poems about my experiences. I'm not going to pretend that I have amazing words of wisdom about dealing with the deadly disease. This is a raw, unreserved look at dealing with some real shit in a funny way.Complete
